Autodrop3d LLC recognizes that open-source projects are difficult to monetize and support long term. For this reason, we have chosen to protect to protect the intellectual property (IP) of our automatic part ejection system using the patent system. The IP for the parametric CAD system is dual licensed under AGPL V3 and our commercial license allowing monetization by 3rd parties. We have a genuine commitment to advancing development of manufacturing and design software and to lowering the barriers of entry to these industries.
