Command line CURA BLACKBELT slicer in testing
Blackbelt cura is a fork of the normal ultimaker cura slicer with changes that allow it to support belt printers with an angled extrude printing on a belt. It was created by the folks at https://blackbelt-3d.com/ for the BLACKBELT series of machines and similar.
Autodrop3d has funded the developer who created the cura integration to port the plugins created to support black belt cura in the cura GUI over to working on the command line. This allows us to support automated workflows and integrating it in to our slicing infrastructure. We are running a limited beta right now for testing on belt style machines. Once we get any bugs ironed out over the next few months of testing we will be releasing the command line variant of this slicer on github. With several companies poised to release printers in the same style we are attempting to work on testing with the variations to ensure it will all work smoothly.
